The latest addition to our Casting Call page is Apocalypse! We asked visitors for suggestions on which actors could tackle the role of the X-Men villain who can alter the atomic structure of his body, and cause panic amongst mutants and all mankind!

Choices include Michael Clarke Duncan, Dominic Purcell, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Laurence Fishburne, and Vin Diesel as poll candidates, including a strictly CGI option.

The first two polls featured on our Casting Call page have now concluded. The majority of voters chose Jessica Biel as the popular singing mutant, Dazzler. For Emma Frost, Rosamund Pike beat out Naomi Watts (by one vote) as the choice for the witty, telepathic mutant.

FAN LETTERS: We’ve added three new questions and comments to our Fan Letters page.

If you’re a repeat visitor of XMF, you’ll notice there’s a slight change when you first visit the main page. Instead of being greeted by the main page featuring the top news headlines and site updates, you’ll notice a splash image page which brings you directly to the news blog after clicking. For the time being, XMF will be using this method (which may be temporary).

It is much easier for me to bring you the latest updates via the blog, than making a seperate update to the previous main page. This year is going to be extremely busy for me (due to outside events), and the change cuts down on time for updating the site dramatically. You will still be able to access the regular pages on XMF by clicking the links above (Film Talk, The Films, Weapon X, Visual Media, and Contact). All site updates will be posted on the blog now, so if I update on Fan Art, etc…you’ll find out about that right here.
