Artist, James Clyne’s official website shows some of the early concept work he did for X-Men: The Last Stand. You’ll notice that some artwork features Magneto in Washington D.C. (the original location for the final battle). You can also find some of the concepts in the Art of X3 book.

Halle ‘Storm’ Berry is nominated for a Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Award! She’s up against actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, Dakota Fanning, and Keira Knightley. Here’s hoping she takes the award home (and mentions X4 again) :-p

Could Sabretooth be plotting to take another bite out of Hugh Jackman? According to massive actor/wrestler Tyler Mane, discussions are under way to have his evil mutant from the original “X-Men” movie return for the highly anticipated Wolverine spinoff flick. “We will see,” an optimistic Mane revealed recently. “There is talk of a Wolverine-Sabretooth [plot], and we will see what happens with that.” Mane might have some competition from Vinnie Jones, however, who has insisted in the past that his Juggernaut will be the target of those famed adamantium claws. Nevertheless, Mane’s comments would seem to support fans who believe the prequel will have Logan seeking revenge against Victor Creed — who eventually became Sabretooth in the “X-Men” comic book series. “We will see,” Mane said cryptically. “You never know.” …
This is great news, as Sabretooth is an essential character in Wolverine’s life. But what do you all think? Would you like to see Tyler return to the role he played in X1? Or would you like to see another actor take on the role of Sabretooth?
While 20th Century Fox is keeping tight-lipped about any developments on X-Men spin-off’s Wolverine and Magneto (crickets have been chirping), there are some things X-Men 3 film fans can look forward to: Minimates!
Amazing Toys notes that the X-Men: The Last Stand Marvel Minimates have “just arrived”! You can choose from the characters of Juggernaut, Beast, Storm, Colossus, Wolverine, and Jean Grey, which come in a variety of sets!

With the X3 Beast action figure already available in stores, more X-Men: The Last Stand figures are waiting to hit the toy store shelves! Hasbro’s official site lists the X3 Jean and Juggernaut figures as shipping on or around May 16th!

Marvel Entertainment’s Peter Cuneo presented at Raymond James 28th Annual Institutional Investors Conference, and gave updates about Marvel’s film rights and the X-Men franchise. Here’s a little of what he had to say. You can listen to the full webcast here (thanks to Advanced Dark).
“All of our film deals with studio partners allow them to continue to have the rights as long as they make the sequels within a prescribed time frame. That time frame varies from deal to deal. If they don’ t make the sequel, then the rights revert back to Marvel.” said Cuneo. “You do sometimes hear the studios saying this is the last of the ‘blank’ films — in our case that’s probably unlikely if a successful franchise. I certainly would include X-Men, probably Fantastic Four and that’s with Fox. “
Regarding Wolverine:
“Wolverine is the most popular of the X-Men, and Fox is talking about with Hugh Jackman making a WOLVERINE film which would qualify in a sense as X-MEN 4.” said Cuneo. “That may very well in fact be out in 2008 or certainly by 2009 if they go ahead, but Fox is very adept at making a quality film very quickly.”
