20th Century Fox and The Donner’s Company are developing a spin-off film featuring the master of magnetism…MAGNETO! The ‘X-Men’ prequel will give a look at the early life of Eric Lensherr and his friendship with Charles Xavier, and show how the one-time allies became mortal enemies.

STATUS: Screenplay written by Sheldon Turner (The Longest Yard) and David Goyer (The Unborn). David Goyr is in talks to direct. This film has not yet been given the greenlight for production.
