It’d be too distracting in 3d

nooooooooo!!!!!!! im so tired of everyone doing the same thing as the last director. everyone copies everyone nowadays come up with something original please. just make great stories,and have great characters thats all we need for it to work and be good. more is not always better sometimes less is.
I am not sure. 3D only seems to be the case for animation films like those Pixar does, It has only been done in live action for low budget horror movies. I do not want film makers so focused on the technology of film making that they forget to write good screenplays and forget to make the movie as best they can.
Lucas and Cameron have done that, and it stinks beans. Besides who wants to wear those 3D glasses all the time.

No, maybe it might be cool but i want to see X4 (without wolverine) Normal, and why do we want lazers wether tuns and Metal shooting out as us?!

those 3d films give me headaches and i hate watching movies with glasses on in the first place.i want to see anna paquine too,and storm,and a real version of psylocke with the thong type outfit.but i agree with jloe if they would just focus on the screenplay and casting the films will keep working,also the cgi,and practical need to be blended good.hope to see x-4,and x-5 back to back with more cyclops,iceman,colossus,angel,rogue,storm,gambit,beast,wolverine,beak aka barnel bohusk,beak 2 aka tito bohusk,chamber,and nightcrawler.villains could be apocalypse,omega red,sinister,magneto,mystique,sabretoothe,and the sentinels.no 3d.

Please don’t make the Wolverine sequel in 3D! I think X4 would be cool in 3D if it has Sentinels in it and cooler FX when using mutant powers.
xmen is made for 3d
I do not think this new 3D format will last any longer than other attempts.
I have seen UP in 3D and except for one two scenes, I did not see a difference compared to usual cinema.
AVATAR could very well decide on the fate of modern 3D. If it rocks and really uses 3D to the extend that it will be a whole different experience, then 3D might survive… otherwise… never mind. Nice try, but until true 3D is developed, I really hate those glasses.

I totally agree with Xavier, we’ll see what AVATAR looks like and then we will be able to decide wether 3D can be adapted to a good action film or not.
Anyway, I’m quite against it too for the reasons mentioned earlier : glasses are not cool / practical, overall if you have already regular glasses. Plus a lot of theatres (at least in France) don’t play the 3D films.

air-g x-men is not just a action film or at least it started out in x-1,and x-2 as more then just action films. they should be emotional stories with action in them. and no 3d im so over it.please stop the 3d banned wagon. cant director come up with original ideas to get people to watch films like make good stories?

exactly cyclops was the leader.and nightcrawler,and gambit should both be in x-4,and x-5. iceman,angel,and colossus really need to be worked with and given some story to.

It means 3D in live action, not animation!!! of course you’ll see Wolverine and Anna Paquin in flesh but in 3D!
